It made sense then, it makes sense now.
In this vintage video of Milton Friedman, we find him teaching Phil Donahue a few things about how capitalism and the real world work. You can't help but notice the dejected expression on Phil's face.
“... certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life,Liberty, and thepursuit of Happiness.”
The idea for redster came from the word “hipster”, which means a person who follows the latest trends and fashions.
So Redster can be defined as: a person who follows the latest political news and is interested in finding truth, speaking truth, and protecting our social and civil liberties.
The color red is a literal reference to the Republican party but we are more specifically founded on the principles of the The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of the United States, and The Bill of Rights as they were originally intended. The Redster movement holds a strong commitment to protecting our liberty when it is compromised and limiting the Government when it grows beyond its original scope.
Absolutely fascinating!
ReplyDeleteWow...Friedman just owns him. That is a really good video. Thanks for posting it.
