Severe Obama budget criticism from a major celebrity

In a speech on Thursday, a major celebrity/politician had this to say about the Obanomics economic ideas and policies:
"current deficit spending is totally unsustainable"

"skyrocketing interest rates if government increases borrowing"

"holders of US debt are going to get tired of holding it"

"rates will be forced up putting a damper on our economy"

"we have to pay interest on that debt"

"we our mortgaging our children's future"
At first glance, this sounds like a critique of the Obama administration coming from a conservative political commentator such as Newt Gingrich or Rush Limbaugh. However, the truth is that these words were spoken by a prominent Democrat critiquing the policies of a Democrat President.

Who is the person speaking these intelligent words of dissent? I'll give you a hint: his middle name is Hussein, and he will say anything for an applause.

Nationalization of a major US industry [✓]

One hundred days of Obama and the government already has complete control of the largest automaker. The stockholders who owned 90% of it a few months ago now have about a 6% ownership and not a single director.

Nationalization of a major US industry. That was quick. And you should see what they did to Bank of America, in secret, hidden from the stockholders who also once owned their company. Now they own a piece of it, and the piece is about to get smaller.

From the GM Press Release:
"As a result of its ownership of GM common stock, the U.S. Treasury will be able to elect all of our directors and to control the vote on substantially all matters brought for a stockholder vote. In addition, through its stockholder voting rights and election of directors, and its role as a significant lender to us, the U.S. Treasury will be able to exercise significant influence and control over our business if it elects to do so."
So, I wonder how long any talented employees will stay on board... especially high paid talent that will be getting pay cuts now. The union came out quite well, still getting base pay + benefits far above the Toyota and Honda labor force in the US. The union thinks they have won this round. But they have probably sealed their fate... as losers.

Degenerates from the 1960's

It seems as though every time we observe the mainstream media, we see how weak liberals are intellectually. In our observations, we have found that liberals like to demonize people they disagree with, instead of backing their ideas up with logic. Instead of using logic they personally attack individuals reputations with false accusations. Leftists cannot beat a conservative in the game of ideas. Fox News keeps it real, by showing us the left's agenda to demonize anyone that disagrees with them and then takes a more serious side by showing us a disturbing tape of what kind of evil the Taliban is still doing in our world.

And the American people think Water-boarding is bad?

Possible Interrogation Probe Dashes Hopes for Bipartisanship Under Obama

Some Republicans believe President Obama killed any chance for bipartisanship when he opened the possibility of prosecution and a congressional investigation of Bush-era lawyers who authorized "enhanced" interrogation techniques on terror suspects.

Mark your calendar: April 21, 2009. That's when the Era of Bipartisanship died.

That's what some Republicans suggested after President Obama opened the possibility of a congressional investigation and prosecution of Justice Department lawyers who authorized "enhanced" interrogation techniques on terror suspects during the Bush administration.

If the coffin needs a final nail, it will come if Democrats decide to fast-track Obama's legislative priorities through a budget maneuver known as "reconciliation."

Democrats in the House and Senate agreed Friday on a budget framework that would protect Obama's health care plan from a Republican filibuster using the tactic.

Republicans and some Democrats oppose reconciliation because it would prevent a long debate on what they consider complex issues.

Bipartisanship was already on life support after Republicans largely opposed the president's economic policies, and it took a turn for the worse on Tuesday when Obama said it would be up to his attorney general to determine whether "those who formulated those legal decisions" behind the interrogation methods should be prosecuted.

Obama uses blatent lies to chip away at your constitutional rights

Whether or not you agree with it, the 2nd amendment reaffirms to us the natural right of self-protection. It is the responsibility of all government officials to respect and uphold such rights—the President even takes an oath to do so.

Using the "Big Lie" technique for public persuasion, Barack Obama and friends have begun their campaign to re-create the U.S. Constitution in their own image.

On Thursday, while on a visit to Mexico, the president continued his Blame America First tour. "This war is being waged with guns purchased not here but in the United States," he said, referring to the drug wars that are tearing apart our neighbor to the south. "More than 90 percent of the guns recovered in Mexico come from the United States, many from gun shops that lay in our shared border."

It is completely untrue that 90 percent of guns recovered in Mexico are from America. The Mexican government separates guns it confiscates that were made in the United States and sends them here to be traced. U.S. weapons are easy to identify because of clear markings.

Of the ones sent here to be traced, 90 percent turn out to be from America, but most guns recovered in Mexico are not sent here so are not included in the count. Fox News reported that 17 percent is a more accurate number. [Read the Myth of 90 percent on Foxnews.com]

Democrats aren't alone in repeating phony gun statistics. The New York Times, CNN and numerous networks continue to repeat the 90 percent figure with no reporting to back it up. The hysteria is used to create the notion that a major problem exists with American guns - and Mr. Obama is anxious to step in to solve that problem with a $400 million program to stop U.S. guns from going to Mexico. That initiative would include clampdowns on U.S. gun shops.

The Americans Who Risked Everything

What did the founding fathers go through in order to establish a more perfect union? What did they endure in order to protect life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness while breaking the cycle of repeated injury by the establishment of an absolute tyranny. Rush Limbaugh was gracious enough to share a speech his father made regarding these questions. His speech gives us insight to the struggles it took to create the most powerful and prosperous nation on earth and we are thrilled to share it with you.
